About 'Short Outing'//

Cvetnić is describing the time he spent serving in Croatian Army during the war in Croatia from August 1992 till September 1993. The book contains plenty of anecdotes from the war-front, some of them personally experienced, some of them heard through others, thoughts on Croatia in war, together with a lot of irony and humor. Besides being amusing and convincing, this book managed to overcome the usual weak point of majority of other Croatian works of the same genre - there is no pathetics.
