Stipe Juras
Stipe Juras was born on February 15th 1976 in Kali on the island of Ugljan in Croatia. He got his high-school and college education in Zadar, where he very early, in his teenage years started to write for school newspapers and local newspaper. As he always wanted to be in the center of public happenings, he often showed his passion towards various public gatherings and culture and sporting events, so from 1994 until today he has organized, co-organized or participated in the organization of many projects and manifestations in the Republic of Croatia. From 1998 he has been a part-time associate of an influential daily newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija, in the music and showbusiness section, and he still writes many concert reviews, theme columns, and does interviews with domestic and foreign musicians, including the people from the music business.
He was introduced to Iron Maiden's music in 1984, and has been a fan of the band ever since. Through these 24 years of intensive listening, Stipe has witnessed about two dozen Iron Maiden concerts in ten different tours and has met all the band members in person several times, including former members and all the important management and road crew personell. In 2003 he has founded the Croatian Iron Maiden fan club, which is today the fan club with the biggest member list in Croatia. As fan club president, he is in constant cooperation with the band's management and concert promotors all around Europe.
Steve Harris' biography is only the first in the series of books that he, with help from his associates, intends to write. Besides this, his work has appeared in the collected works of the Students' book club in Zadar, a series of MMS-published books regarding old-Slavic mythology, and his solo works include a novel "Where do the visionaries go" (to be published in the summer of 2008) and "The guide for crazy fans and smart groupies", in which he offers advice to people whose lifestyle includes going to concerts and open air festivals. The book has already been released in Croatia, and there are plans for translations for the foreign markets.

band having Maiden as an support act. Clive Burr will tell us about
Steve during the first three albums and their relationship after he
was diagnosed with MS. Wally Grove will speak about managing security
for him, Ross Halfin has a lot of interesting things to say, as will
Doug Hall and Michael Kenney. A lot of members from supporting bands
will tell us how is it to work alongside him, while Steve Lazarus
knows how to run a Maiden fan club. Blaze Bayley shares his thoughts
about both being hired and fired from the band and dealing with Steve
