It is the first professional literary agency for representing authors abroad in the region. Therefore its founders carry a great professional responsibility to create a positive atmosphere for the writers of all of the Balkan countries so they could gain audience around the globe.
The two people behind it are Tihana Zidanić Šakota (born in 1976), a professor of Russian language and Ivan Sršen (born in 1979), graduated linguist and a historian with almost a decade of editorial experience behind him.

The founders of Sandorf also wanted to engage in independent publishing so the publishing plan for 2008 consisted of only three titles, but of those the editors considered necessary to release. In 2009 we published 6 titles. The interest of Sandorf's publishing section is literature, cultural theory and literary theory, history, art and popular culture.
